Women’s Mental Health Retreat: Five Days at The Glass House to Come Back to Yourself
A private women’s healing retreat to exhale, get honest, and reconnect with yourself
If you searched for a women’s mental health retreat, you are in the right place. What you will find here is a five-day retreat at The Glass House, six women at most, built for the ones who take care of everyone else first. Losing yourself in other people’s needs is not a flaw. It is a pattern you learned, usually early, and it can be unlearned with the right support. Five days is enough time to hear yourself again, understand how you got this far from you, and practice coming back before you go home.
Come Back to Yourself at The Glass House, A Mental Health and Wellness Retreat for Women
Something brought you here. Maybe it's a relationship that keeps taking more than it gives. Maybe it's the realization that you've been pouring into everyone else and quietly losing yourself in the process. Maybe you've been telling yourself you're fine, but you know you're not and you're tired of pretending.
You don't have to figure this out alone. And you don't have to hit rock bottom to deserve support.
The Glass House women’s retreat is five days and four nights with a small group of women, no more than six, doing structured, meaningful work with dedicated PIVOT coaches. This isn't a spa retreat with affirmations and journaling prompts. This is an intensive mental health retreat grounded in psychoeducational and experiential work built on the PIVOT Process, a methodology developed in a clinical setting and refined over more than 18 years with thousands of real people navigating real pain.
You'll begin to understand why you keep ending up in the same cycles, why you attract what you attract, why you tolerate what you tolerate, and why your self-worth has become so tangled up in other people's behavior. Through individual coaching, small group sessions, and guided experiential work, you'll start untangling those patterns and reconnecting with the part of you that can make clear, grounded, self-honoring choices.
Healthy meals, yoga, meditation, and space for quiet reflection support you throughout the week. But the heart of this experience is the work itself; the kind of honest, guided, structured work that doesn't just help you feel better for a few days. It helps you actually live better going forward.
Whether you're recovering from a toxic relationship, struggling with boundaries, trying to understand why you keep choosing the same kind of partner, or simply feeling like you've lost yourself somewhere along the way, our healing women’s retreat was designed for exactly where you are right now.
You are not broken. You are not too far gone. You are worth the investment of five days to come back to yourself.

This is what sets us apart: the individual attention.
Most retreats and workshops run one facilitator and a big room. At the Glass House, you meet privately with your own PIVOT-trained facilitator throughout the retreat, and with never more than six guests, the group work is personal too. Your five days are built around your patterns, your story, and your plan, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Keeps the Focus on You
Self-care is not just a buzzword. It’s a critical practice essential for your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Whenever you operate at a deficit, you cannot show up as your best for the others in your life. Without adequate self-care, life’s stressors take their toll. A women’s mental health retreat holds space and allows you to look inward with intention and focus on your needs. This small investment of time spent nurturing your mental health will return to you in many aspects of your life.
Guests can expect the features listed below at all PIVOT retreats:
- They employ the evidence-based PIVOT Process, a multi-faceted tool developed and refined over 15 years in a clinical setting.
- Each stay is thoughtfully planned for a unique group of six participants.
- Each participant works with a carefully matched coach to examine the psychology of their early development.
- Participants revisit their inner child and inner teen before reintegrating as healthy adults who are capable of handling their many relationships and responsibilities with confidence.
- The process helps you connect the physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and financial aspects of your life for greater clarity and resilience in the future.
After attending a PIVOT retreat, you’ll return to your life with a new outlook on your relationship with yourself and enhanced preparatory skills for handling relationships with others.
Multiple Factors Impact Women’s Mental Health
Women are often taught to keep going and be everything for everyone, but in constantly caring for others, they can lose touch with themselves. While no two are exactly alike, most women share at least some commonalities. Though not unique to women, these factors do place a collective strain on women’s lives, both in the short term and over the long term.
Potential Impacts on Women’s Mental Health
These pressures are not imaginary, and they are not “too much.” APA reports women continue to report higher stress and lower feelings of support, while NIMH and WHO identify distinct burdens linked to perinatal depression, violence exposure, and higher rates of depression in women. (American Psychological Association)
These are just a few of the daily stressors that accumulate and exert additional strain on you. Instead of waiting until emotional overload compromises your mental health, why not build up your strength and emotional reserves with practical tools and individualized support nurtured in an all women’s retreat created just for you?
I had tried so many modalities of therapies, intensives, and “you can heal your life” weekends. With all of the other programs, I left on that “workshop high” ready to face the world and my challenges head on, only to be met with the same triggering scenarios and no real application of how to apply these newly learned skills into my life. This led me feeling disappointed and back in the same old problems, challenges, and patterns. My experience with The Glass House was different. Everything I learned was individualized to me and my challenges. They used curriculum that was easy to use, apply, and understand. After 5 days at the Glass House I left with more knowledge to get into action than I had in over a decade of therapy. When I returned home I was able to apply what I had learned and change the patterns that weren’t serving me. As a result, my life changed! Lori Jean was right, people can, and do, change! I will forever cherish the time I spent at the Glass House. It allowed me to open the door to understanding and loving myself in a way I didn’t know was possible. If you are frustrated in your relationships or find yourself repeating the same behavioral patterns, GET to a Glass House Intensive. You won’t regret it!
Come Full Circle at a Women’s Mental Health Retreat
Your mental health is shaped by both nature and nurture. That means your current anxiety, shutdown, conflict patterns, overreactions, self-abandonment, or emotional exhaustion may have deeper roots than what is happening today.
Early attachment wounds, trauma, neglect, engulfment, or chronic instability often show up later as survival patterns in adult life and relationships. PIVOT’s work is built around helping people understand those patterns, strengthen boundaries, and become better able to manage and tolerate emotions without betraying themselves.
With the right support, women can stop living in reaction to old pain.
A PIVOT Women’s Mental Health Retreat provides focused time to understand what has been driving your distress, interrupt the patterns that keep repeating, and practice a healthier internal process. This is how women begin to move toward relational freedom: thinking clearly, feeling honestly, and taking aligned action with self-respect.
You do not leave this retreat “fixed.” You leave more connected, aware, grounded, and more able to trust yourself.
