PIVOTWorks May 2026

Dear PIVOT Community,

We are so grateful for each of you. Whether you've experienced one of our retreats, worked with a PIVOT coach, or are just beginning to explore what it means to step into your #HealthyAdult often!  This community is the heart of everything we do.

In this edition, we're sharing updates on upcoming retreats, spotlighting our couples services, recapping our most recent Healthier Hour, and sharing a powerful story of transformation made possible by your generosity.

With warmth,

Kayla  |  Executive Director, PIVOT

YOUR GENEROSITY AT WORK: SCHOLARSHIP IMPACT
10 Individuals Received Scholarships Through April 2026

Because of our generous donors, 10 individuals have received scholarship support to access PIVOT coaching and retreat programs this year. These are real people whose lives have been transformed, people who would not have had access to this healing work without your help.

Every dollar you give creates change for someone ready to do the work. Will you help us reach even more people?

A STORY OF TRANSFORMATION

We are honored to share this story from one of our scholarship recipients, in their own words:

“The Glass House Retreat changed things for me. I’ve spent my entire adult life taking care of everyone else, placing others' needs before my own, and slowly losing myself. Receiving a scholarship made it possible for me to attend a retreat. The tools I gained have helped me better understand myself, find my voice, and create a more authentic connection with my family. I’ve been able to apply what I learned for my personal life at work, too."

-GG, PIVOT Scholarship Recipient

COUPLES SERVICES: A DIFFERENT KIND OF WORK

Our couples services are uniquely designed not just to address conflict, but to get to the root of what drives it and provide customized solutions.

PIVOT Curriculum for Couples and Duos is designed to help people realign and reconnect, especially when old patterns are creating distance or pain. This is not couples therapy. It's a structured process rooted in relational alignment, thinking clearly, feeling deeply, and taking aligned action together.

At PIVOT, we believe every healthy relationship begins with the one you have with yourself. That's why each of you works with your own dedicated coach, so you can grow in self-understanding and how you show up in the relationship, while also coming together in joint sessions to build trust, repair connection, and move forward as a team.

Here's what you'll walk away with, regardless of whether you choose to work in-person or online:

  • Tools for conflict repair and healthy communication
  • A path to rebuilding trust, emotionally, physically, or both
  • A deeper understanding of your partner's needs and triggers
  • Clarity around your own patterns and how to shift them
  • A shared language for staying connected, even under stress
  • The feeling of being a team again, not opponents

Healthier Hour: Understanding Narcissism Beyond the Label

This month on Healthier Hour, we are taking a closer look at narcissism.

Few words are used more often and misunderstood more frequently in modern relationships than the word narcissist. It appears in breakups, therapy sessions, and across social media, often without the clarity or precision the topic deserves. Too often, the label is used to explain pain, assign blame, or win an argument rather than to deepen understanding.

The real question is not whether someone fits a label. The real question is: What patterns are showing up in this relationship, and what needs to change?

In my latest blog post, Called a Narcissist? What the Label Does and Doesn’t Tell You, I explore what is actually most helpful when this word enters the conversation. If you have ever been called a narcissist, or wondered whether someone in your life may be struggling with these traits, I hope this article helps you move beyond labels and toward greater clarity, responsibility, and relational freedom.

Glass House Retreat for Women

I am excited to be leading our upcoming women’s retreat at the Glass House on May 25. Each retreat is a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when people are willing to look honestly at their patterns and do the courageous work of change. I continue to be deeply inspired by the individuals who show up with openness, vulnerability, and a genuine desire to build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Alumni Corner: Staying Connected to Your Growth

To our PIVOT alumni: your work does not end when a retreat or coaching experience concludes. In many ways, it is just the beginning. The real transformation happens as you continue applying what you have learned in your everyday life, one conversation, one boundary, and one intentional choice at a time. I encourage you to stay connected to the tools, revisit your materials, and reach out for support whenever you need it. Growth is rarely linear, and every season of life offers new opportunities to strengthen your Healthy Adult and deepen your relational alignment. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.
